What the placement includes
A guest article is advertising in the form of a post on our site. It is not a staff editorial, and it is labeled that way.
A page on our blog
Approved articles are published in Guest Posts, with your links and tags. A public author profile puts your name, bio, and links on the article. Until then the byline is a member number, never an email address.
Marked as sponsored
The article shows a sponsored notice. Outbound links are marked rel="sponsored" so readers and search engines can tell they are paid placements.
Free edits after publication
Once the article is live, later revisions are free. The approved version stays public until a revision is accepted. Rejecting a revision does not refund the original fee.
How buying a post works
Draft for free
Write in My Blog Posts and use the private preview. Drafts are not public and do not cost anything.
Pay the publication fee
Publishing uses Platform Credit. My Blog Posts shows the amount, and you confirm it before it is charged.
We review it
An editor reads the submission before it can go live. Paying the fee does not guarantee approval. A rejected first submission refunds that exact charge. You can edit the draft for free and submit again at the fee in effect then.
It stays up until you archive it
Archive removes the article from the public blog and does not refund the publication fee. An administrator can restore an archived article. Restore does not charge or refund Platform Credit.
What we accept
Original articles about a real offer
Write something a reader of Adbytes can use: a product, a site, a tool, or a clear point of view. Do not paste copied pages, keyword lists, or unrelated promotions.
Your links stay in the article
The advertising is the article and the links inside it. You choose tags, within the limit shown in the editor. The Guest Posts category and the public URL are set by the site.
Review can still say no
We can reject an article that is off-topic, misleading, or not ready to publish. Rejection of the first paid attempt returns that attempt's fee. Later edits to a live article are reviewed too, and those reviews do not create a new charge or a refund.
